All About August

This August has been a lot of fun, we didn't really go any where, but everyone came to visit us. My dad's sister, her husband, and daughter came to visit from Mexico. We got together for a picnic and some swimming at our pool.

Logan's Biz Abuelito (Great Grandpa)

Momma and Poppa King stopped here on their way to catch a plane to California for Mom's class reunion. After picking them up from the airport a few days later, they had lunch with us and Logan had lots of smiles for them!

Aunt Betty, her grandkids Donovan and Jared, and my sister-in-law Chelsy came to visit from Montana. We went to Union Station, Temple Square, and the Salt Lake.

For our anniversary we had a little getaway that Tyrel planned. We stayed at the Crystal Inn, went to see Harry Potter, were going to go to Raging Waters but it was bad weather on Saturday, so we went to Boondocks fun center instead and got wristbands. Thanks to my family for watching the boys for us! It was great to have a little break but then great to go back and get them!

Tyrel flew this airplane in a driving similator, it was really cool.

Silas Videos

This music came on the radio and Silas just started busting out his dance moves.

We went out to the Salt Lake to play and Silas loved it! He had so much fun splashing and playing in the sand, loving that the water was so shallow and warm.

Can you tell who is who?

Here are some pictures of Silas and Logan next to each other. Except for the fact that Logan is a chunk and Silas was a skeleton, they look so alike. In fact, some days when Silas is asleep, Tyrel and I look at Logan and think that it is Silas, forgetting that Silas is actually now a two-year-old who is taking a nap. Also, when Logan wears certain outfits, I call him Silas all day long because I remember Silas wearing them. I sure love these little boys of mine!

3 Incredible Years

Happy Anniversary to us! Today marks three years since Tyrel and I were married for time and all eternity. We sure have done a lot of living in these three years. I love being married to my best friend and discovering life together. Here are some pictures to reminice about this day three years ago. Love you Sweetheart! God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you!

No more Bink-Milk

As long as Silas has been holding his own milk, he has gone to bed with a binky and a milk. Since he began talking, it has been refered to as bink-milk. But lately, he had been biting his bink and it was getting a hole, no longer safe for him because he might choke on a piece of it. Also, he pointed out to us, "Bink broken, Dad fix, Dad fix!" So we told him we couldn't fix it and asked if he wanted to throw it in the garbage. He said yeah and he went to the kitchen and threw it away. We then gave him some Elmo slippers we had just bought at Kid to Kid and told him that he now got to have Milk-Slippers every night to go to bed. He was so excited and didn't even cry at all for loss of his bink. Since then, it has gone well, however, we have lost a little bit of sleep because he doesn't know how to get himself back to sleep without his binky so he's been waking up about 5 or 6 a.m. and after only an hour or so of nap. Whew! I thought we would never get that bink away from him, so I can do with a little sleep interuption for now.

Enjoy the pics, we can't seem to put the camera away!

Logan's Blessing

I forgot to put these pictures on the last post. Tyrel blessed Logan on July 5, in our ward. It was fun to have his family and my family together for the 4th of July weekend. After the blessing, we went to my parent's house for a lunch.
